Planning and Paperwork:

So, you have decided to build a home. Where do you start? It may seem intimidating to you but we are here to help you with the process.

The first thing you should do is determine what your budget is and where you would like to live. Finding a Real Estate Agent is a great help. They can provide you with options and information you may have missed while searching for a Builder. They are there to work for you and to guide you each step of the way. It is not required for you to have an agent, you can also buy a home “Builder-Direct”, and we have many wonderful agents in our communities working for us to work for you.

Finding a plan that suits your lifestyle is exciting. We have many plans to choose from and as we have an in-house Architectural Drafter, it is easy for you to make changes to these plans.

Now you have found a plan and know where you are going to live, we meet with you and the agents to discuss prices and changes. When you are happy with the plans we get you to sign off on them to confirm you accept them. The Agents will prepare an Agreement of Purchase and Sale based on our discussions. This should be reviewed by your lawyer.

Now its time to build!

You have the freedom to pick your light fixtures, your flooring and your kitchen layouts and cabinets. You also can pick your siding, shingles and paint colors. We encourage you to be as involved as possible as this is your home.
